What does your practice have?

All 5 drills

  • Closeout movement prep

    4 to 18 players · 1 basket · a half court · about 7 minutes

Sprint two-thirds, chop the final third, arrive high with active hands, then slide and open on command without crossing the feet.

  • Competition Shell

    8 to 16 players · 1 basket · a half court · about 15 minutes

Defend every possession from the start: a foot in the paint, pressure the ball, deny one pass away, help two passes away, and finish every stop with the rebound. Each offensive rebound costs your team a point.

  • Mikan variation series

    1 to 3 players · 1 basket · a quarter court · about 8 minutes

Progress through regular, reverse, and power finishes. Keep the ball high, use both hands, and finish off the correct foot.

  • Relocation shooting

    3 to 18 players · 1 basket · a half court · about 12 minutes

Lift, drift, and replace behind penetration. Arrive with feet and hands ready, maintain spacing, and hold the finish.

  • Sprint-to-shot transition shooting

    4 to 16 players · 1 basket · the full court · about 12 minutes

Guards sprint to corners and wings while bigs rim-run and rebound. Shooters get feet organized before the catch without slowing the lane fill.
